Q: Why is Rogers acquiring Seaside?
A: Both Rogers and Seaside recognize how important it is to deliver dependable, high-speed rural connectivity. We know there are significant opportunities to connect more residents and offer the latest technology now and into the future. Through this partnership, Seaside and Rogers will work together to maintain the great work that is already being done and provide support and resources for investment to serve more customers

Q: When will Seaside become part of Rogers?
A: We will work over the next little while to finalize the agreement but don’t yet have an exact timing to share. More details will be shared soon. 

Q: Will any Seaside employees lose their jobs?
A: There is no impact to any Seaside jobs. All employees will be offered employment with Rogers.

Q: Will the companies still be called Seaside?
A: Yes, the companies will continue to be called Seaside. 

Q: When will Seaside customers have the option to get Rogers Ignite services?
A: Our first priority is to ensure a seamless transition for the Seaside employees and customers. As soon as possible thereafter we look forward to bringing Rogers leading IPTV services, including Ignite TVTM to Seaside customers. 

Q: How will these changes impact my current services?
A: There are no immediate plans to make any changes to your services. You will continue to receive the great services that you do today and have access to the exceptional support of Seaside’s local staff.  

Q: Who do I contact for support related to any issues or questions regarding my service?
A: The Seaside team is still here to support you with anything you need. Please continue to reach out the same ways you do now. 

Q: I already have Rogers Wireless. Can I bundle this plan with my Seaside services moving forward?
A: At this time, your Rogers Wireless plan will continue to be separate from your Seaside services. We will make sure to update you about any changes well in advance as bundling becomes available.
