Each year, Seaside Communications brings you the Jack Bonaparte "Caring is Sharing" Telethon in support of the local Glace Bay Food Bank. This is the biggest fundraiser for the only food bank serving those in need in the Glace Bay and surrounding areas.

This year our telethon was broadcast from the Glace Bay Miners Forum with a variety show on Sunday, October 23rd between 4 & 8 pm. All were encouraged to attend and bring along a donation. Items always in need include:

1. Peanut Butter,
2. Jam,
3. Cereal,
4. Kids Lunch Items,
5. Canned Milk,
6. Kraft Dinner,
7. Personal Hygiene items,
8. Batteries,
9. Band aids, and
10. Flashlights
